    Shipping charges are calculated via the FEDEX database. There is a slight danger that FEDEX's site may be down or unreachable. If this happens, you will experience a delay of up to 60 seconds while the system tries to contact FEDEX. If the site cannot be contacted at all, shipping will not be calculated but you may still complete your order.

    Shipping offers: Shipping offers apply only to ground shipments sent to U.S. delivery addresses in the 48 contiguous states, excluding Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii. Orders will be shipped in the most cost efficient way to a single address. We will be glad to fill custom shipping requests for an additional charge.

    FEDEX Address Correction Charge: Please make sure your ship to address is complete and includes any apartment, suite, department or floor number information. FEDEX charges for address corrections and we will charge that additional cost to your credit card when it is billed to us.

    NOTE: Shipping charges for orders sent to incorrect addresses and returned to us are not refundable, and are subject, if order is canceled, to a 10% (of total order) handling/restocking fee applied to your credit card.

    Damage in Shipment: FEDEX is responsible for getting your shipment to you safely. Upon receipt, if you notice or suspect any damage, note so on the delivery papers. DO NOT refuse shipment regardless. If upon opening you find the merchandise damaged due to shipping, call Customer Care immediately at 888-463-3332 all damage claims must be submitted to FEDEX within 21 days from delivery date. CoolStuffCheap.com will not send replacements or apply credits on damaged orders reported after 21 days from delivery date.

    Order Never Delivered: If you do not receive your order within the standard delivery time, please contact us at 888-463-3332 for assistance in finding your order. If the order is not located by the carrier within 10 business days, you may request a refund or re-shipment of the order. We can not place claims on shipments that are more than 30 days old. If your package does not arrive within the specified delivery time, you must contact us at 888-463-3332 or via email at customer-care@coolstuffcheap.com with "Lost Order" in the subject field to ensure the claim is placed within the 30 day time period. CoolStuffCheap.com will not send replacement orders or apply credits on shipments that are more than 30 days old.

    Back Order Policy:
    Occasionally, a product may be out of stock. If your item is back ordered and is scheduled to reach the Cool Stuff Cheap warehouse within seven (7) business days, your order will be held up in order to complete your shipment. In the event of a delay we will contact you by phone or email.

    Cancellation Policy:
    If you would like to cancel a CoolStuffCheap.com order for any reason, please call us at 888-463-3332, and a representative will determine if your order can be cancelled. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request. Our order-fulfillment system is designed to get orders shipped and on the way to our customers quickly and efficiently. As a result, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has already entered the shipping process.

    If you have not confirmed your cancellation with us or received an RMA number, we reserve the right to refuse returned shipments.

    If your order cannot be cancelled, and you are unhappy with it, simply return it to CoolStuffCheap.com according to our Return Policy.

    CoolStuffCheap.com reserves the right to cancel any order that appears suspect or fraudulent. All fraudulent transactions will be reported to the proper authorities.

    Return Policy:
    1. We will be happy to consider a return of merchandise in new condition with its original packing and accessories intact within 30 days of the order date. Simply review the return rules below and obtain a
    "Return Merchandise Authorization".

    Return Rules:

  • All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be unopened and unused and received at Cool Stuff Cheap within 30 days of purchase. Used items are NOT returnable. Used items that are returned in as new condition are subject to a 25% inspection and repackaging fee.

  • Free shipping charges and any coupon offers or discounts will be deducted from all return refunds.
  • Returned merchandise and its packaging must be in new condition, packed in its original undamaged manufacturer's box and include all original packaging material, original manuals and any accessories that came with the item. Merchandise not meeting this requirement will be subject to an additional restocking fee.
  • We will not accept returns on items that are not in saleable condition (opened boxes, damaged/torn packaging, missing instruction booklets or documentation).
  • Opened Laser Stars, Fog Machines, Bubble Machines, Strobe Lights and Disco Lighting are not returnable. We will be happy to exchange defective units for an exact replacement.
  • Due to pet health and safety concerns, opened Pet Products are not returnable.
  • Due to health, hygiene and safety concerns, opened Thermos products, whistles, blankets/pads or other items that can make bodily contact cannot be returned.
  • Defective Kit-Cat clock returns must be approved by the manufacturer and returned to them before we can issue a credit, per our reseller agreement.
  • We will not accept returns on opened liquid products, opened Thermos products, opened Pet Carriers, Keysafes, Barware/pitchers/glasses, Tekno Bubbles, blacklight paint, whistles, fog juice, fog scents and bubble juice.
  • Special orders, electronics, opened hand held games, drop ship orders (Crosley Electronics & Telephones, custom made water panels, palm trees and aquarium coffee tables etc.) will be subject to a re-stocking fee of 15% to 30% as imposed by the manufacturer/distributor.
  • We will not accept any returns/exchanges on seasonal items (Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah items), unless defective and returned for replacement or store credit.

    2. If you receive a product not on your order, please call 888-463-3332, we will ship the correct item(s) to you, along with a free shipping label to return the incorrect product. We will pick the incorrect product up from you at our expense, if we do not receive the incorrect item back within 15 days we will be forced to charge you for the cost of the item and shipping.

    3. If you think you have received a defective product, please call 888-463-3332 within 5 days of your purchase delivery. We may be able to solve the problem or guide you in the correct usage of the product. NOTE: Cloudy lava lamps and items requiring replacement batteries or bulbs are not considered defective. If we determine a product to be defective, we will exchange it for an identical item or offer an in-store credit, at our discretion. You must first obtain an RMA (see "Return Merchandise Authorization"). The amount of the in-store credit you may receive for the defective item will be the price you paid for the item. Products returned as defective are thoroughly examined and tested; any misrepresentation of item condition will result in immediate refusal of your return.

    You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number and ship returns or exchanges back to us within 10 days of the RMA issue date. Products for return or exchange must be in new and re-sellable condition and received at CoolStuffCheap.com in the same condition in which it was shipped, with all accessories, packing materials, manuals and other materials included.

    Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):
    To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, simply complete our
    Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Request Form with the reason for your return/exchange, and the condition of the items you would like to send back. Misrepresentation of the condition of items returned will result in immediate refusal of your return.

    If your exchange or return appears to be within our guidelines, we will issue an RMA number. This number should be clearly written on the label of the box you ship back. You must ship returns or exchanges back to us within 30 days of the order date. Shipping costs are not refundable.

    Issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee acceptance of your return/exchange or that a credit will be issued.

    Return Shipping:
    Before you ship any returns or exchanges, you must first obtain an RMA (see

    You must ship returns or exchanges back to us within 30 days of the order date.     Credits/Refunds:

    How Refunds Are Calculated:

    The amount of your refund depends on several factors:

  • All returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be unopened and unused and received at Cool Stuff Cheap within 30 days of purchase.
  • Any item returned that received free or discounted shipping will have the amount of the promotional shipping offer deducted from the refund.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable.
  • If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account for use on a future purchase.
  • If you return an order that was placed using a promotional certificate, code or discount, you will not be refunded for the amount of the promotional offer. Any unexpired promotional funds used on the order would, however, be returned to your account for use toward future qualifying purchases. Please note that the original expiration date still applies.

    What if I Get a "Security Certificate Expired" Alert?
    This is NOT a security risk, just an expiration date issue in your browser! Our server's security certificate has NOT expired.
    Users of Netscape Navigator versions 4.05 and earlier, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and 4.5 for Macintosh may, however, get an alert message saying that our site's certificate has expired. This is because the security component of these browsers was set to expire on 12/31/99.
