The Chauvet Elan is a DMX-512 LED effect light is the winner of the Club World Award for Best Effect awarded to the clubbing world’s best from the previous year. With 224 low-power, ultra-bright red, green, and blue LEDs working together to produce a beam angle of over 70 degrees, the Chauvet Elan creates rotating and crisscrossing beams that produce mid-air beam effects and wall projections with wide room and floor coverage. The Elan can be controlled through sound-activation, dipswitches located on the rear of the unit, or through 4-channels of DMX.

The Chauvet Elan offers four channels of DMX control (red, green, blue and strobe), with a plethora of preprogrammed color changes and patterns. Separate knobs control sound sensitivity for movement and color independently, allowing for a variety of show options. By manipulating the dipswitches located on the unit, users can control color strobing and movement. The Chauvet Elan DMX LED Effect Light also features master/slave settings and an additional power output that enables daisy-chaining of up to 20 Elans. The use of LEDs keeps weight and power requirements low.
