Spun Bamboo is created by shaping thin strips of bamboo around a mold and drying them into shape. Pieces are then hand-sanded to a smooth, silky finish and multiple layers of weather-resistant varnish are applied to achieve the hard, glossy finish. The result is uniquely elegant, reflecting the textures of bamboo in an attractive spiral pattern that is remarkably weather resistant with a wonderfully contemporary look.
