The ARC's Rugged Converter/Regulator circuitry boosts cell voltage to the level required by the LED. Arc L.E.D. Key Chain Flashlight Features:

Waterproof to 50 feet. Sealed head is water resistant even further. “Buna” O-rings are resistant to oil, gas, etc.

Type III Hard Anodize finish is several times more scratch resistant than the finish used on other metal flashlights.

ChemKote interior finish (gold tint) protects interior from battery corrosion and improved contact conductivity.
